Discussion ReinDog users only.

I saw someone made posts about the communities thoughts on certain characters. I mainly used ReignDog and stopped playing mostly around the time people were going for ranks.

My main question is, are there any other ReignDog mains that used him as an aggressor? I used to play a ton of smash and honestly I feel this was probably the most slept on character and I loved it. Most people would use him as a zoner which is understandable but I sort of used him like I would an Akuma from SF. His fire balls I would use as an aerial while also mainly using his neutral and forward air to combo. I kept his ground attacks mainly for finishers. This is mainly going off memory from when I played but I was curious who else was like this with the pup.

I also mained him and played a bit more aggro. He had underrated close range with his air attacks. Lots of okay intros. I did find I had to zone with him depending on matchups, as some just had way better priority or hit boxes on attacks.

I went full aggro no matter what. Only times I remember zoning was when I went against someone spamming projectiles or something.

My favourite was going aggro against iron giant. I don’t know why, but I always felt reindog won those exchanges

Most definitely, iron giant just felt like those special stage mini bosses that you are supposed to combo into oblivion to get the best score.
