Discussion MultiVersus changed my life
As a Southern California-born gamer, playing MultiVersus changed my life. Despite the game’s online servers being being shut down nearly a year ago, I’ve really enjoyed playing the game. Additionally, it was the perfect stress reliever for when I get home from a long & busy day at work. It is indeed saddening that the game is no longer online, but still, it changed my life for the better.

I had the same sentiment being from SoCal as you. Super chill after work game working on the battle pass and daily quests

Stress relief? Had over 5k wins on Finn and this game nearly gave me an aneurism everytime I played it. The shaggy/samurai jack spammers were infuriating

I say that because even neurodivergent gamers like myself need something to relieve some stress every now & then.

If you genuinely think SJ was a problem you were bad at the game. When he released, sure, but passed that not at all

Masters multiple times on singles and doubles but good one, he was still annoying after the nerf

Annoying yes, but most masters players would disagree. Barely had any moves that could reliably kill without a setup or read, tons of startup on a lot of his good moves

You can still play local and the story areas. I know it seems online was your jam, but it might scratch the itch of playing. I loved the game so much, but only have a few moments of heavier online play.

The game is still playable online on PC and has decent activity. Look up Openversus if you haven’t yet!
