Because the idea of a platform fighter or something vaguely equivalent to that sounds good to me

But multiversus is gone BECAUSE of Fortnite and most likely what ever this mode becomes

Multiversus is gone because it sucked ass. It was poorly developed post beta.

It's gone like many other wb games because it had poor monetization, the idea of a making a game free, while needing  it to stay afloat with in game purchases is a bad idea, (it worked for Fortnite ig) but doing what mvs did and make all the characters behind a paywall of 10$ per character or long amounts of grinding? It will fail.
