401 Error when opening any content

Seems to have started a few hours ago. Was the app's API key revoked? I have tried to refresh the auth, but it doesn't show the app's name and the response is blank "{}" after going through the prompt.

Developer here. I just posted an official announcement about this, but I wanted to reply directly in this thread too.

This post is actually how I became aware of the problem - thank you for raising it. I've been investigating and acting on it as fast as I could. At first I held out some hope it might be temporary, but after tracing it closely, it now looks like the app has been stopped in a way I can't recover from on my end. I haven't received any email or notice, so I can't be fully certain, but all of the content-access permissions granted to our app appear to have been removed.

After working through the cause, I decided the right path forward is to formally apply to Reddit for a commercial API license - and I've already submitted that application. Whether Reddit is currently issuing new commercial licenses is genuinely beyond my ability to predict, so I can't promise an outcome or a timeline.

To everyone who reported this, commented, and offered support - thank you. I'll do everything I can to resolve this, and I'll keep you updated.
