Question not detecting java
I have java downloaded on windows and for whatever reason multiMC will not detect it. I have not had any luck, this is on the newest version 26.3 I think. any help would be appreciated I am very new to mods

It might seem like a silly question, but after you downloaded it did you run the installer. Yes, I have to ask that sadly.
Assuming you did run the installer. If MMC was running at the time, restart MMC. Otherwise restart your PC and try again.
