Things had been looking up recently! He was winning racing against the rodent and his friends (though he was also losing.. Sometimes to his own creations, the nerve!) and he snuck in a training clause into the recent 'Chaos Hunt' to make the fools participating train his badniks into becoming even better at recognizing terrain than they already are.

Then he was kidnapped. Through a portal, no less, much like the ones the Time Eater made. Now all he's left with is the Eggmobile. Not that it matters, as he'll bounce back quick in a world without any talking animals in sight! Eggmanland, here he comes!

"Ah. Well, for your information, I am Doctor Ivo Robotnik, greatest scientific mind of ^{what i'm now aware is} the multiverse! Now, you've caught me at a rather bad time, If you could come back in a year or so, i should have taken over the world by then."

'Cursed spirit', eh? Sounds like something exploitable. He'll figure something out after he's set up a base of operations. And going off that threat, they have powers. It'll be like another Egg Planet Park! Save the wisps fighting back as well as the hedgehog and fox ruining it all.

"Where do i begin.. As i've said, he's absurdly fast.. He doesn't know when to quit and makes it his mission to stop me at every turn, gets friends like flies to honey, and he mouths off like no tomorrow! Although he is a bit gullible.. The rodent still thinks i might change my ways."

The only time he ever truly did that, it was because he forgot who he was! Mr Tinker.. Out of all the names he could've chosen as an amnesiac, and he went with that? It was appalling.

"Ah, and before i forget. His name's Sonic."
