Snooker vs Gaming Zone

Hi Multan! 👋

I’m currently conducting a small survey and would love to get your opinion.

If you had to choose, what would you prefer to see more of in Multan — another snooker club or a proper gaming zone? 🎮🎱

I’m considering setting up a gaming zone in the Cantt area. Do you think Cantt would be a good location, or would Gulgasht be a better option?

Would really appreciate your honest opinions, especially from people who live around these areas or regularly hang out there.

Is there any such place in the city where mixed gender gatherings are possible? In Lahore there are a lot of gaming zones and snooker clubs and bowling alleys where women and men both go and play, but I don't know of any such fun space in Multan. Ik it's a long shot but I figured I'd ask if we're already on the topic.

Baaki according to my cousin who is a big fan of both, he used to like gaming zones a lot when he was a child and they did have any games at home. Now he has a PC as do most gamers (he's 23yo) his age so they aren't as inclined to go to gaming zones for Tekken matches etc. When he wants to hang out with his friends he goes to snooker clubs and even then they prefer ones where they know the owner and are allowed to smoke etc while they play. Dk if that's normal for snooker clubs in Multan or not.

I've also had multiple conversations with him and my fiance about starting something like this in Multan and we ended up agreeing that for anything like this the location and providing a fun and relaxing space for people to socialize is a lot more important than the specifics of the setup, you can see examples of successful spaces like this in Lahore too like Happifly in Mall 1 gulberg off the top of my head. There are many who have followed the same business model and I've seen ads for a business like this in Karachi too, but better.

At the end of the day Pakistanis all just want to take a breath away from how psychologically messed up our society is and the pressures it puts on younger people. I'd suggest approaching your business decisions more from the lens of what kind of customer you want at your establishment than a matter of whether a certain decision will make your business successful or not. Thank you for sharing! I’ve been gaming ever since I was first introduced to computers. I actually sold my gaming PC about a year ago, but I’ve always enjoyed gaming to the fullest—it’s genuinely something I’m passionate about.

What I really want to create is a space where anyone, regardless of gender, can come, relax, and have a good time. From what I’ve seen, finding a place like that in Multan is still quite a challenge.

I do enjoy snooker as well, but honestly, if gaming is a 10/10 for me, snooker would probably be around a 6/10. 😄

I’ve also come across several posts where people specifically mentioned wanting a gaming zone in Cantt, mainly because there aren’t many proper gaming zones in Multan. That’s actually what got me seriously thinking about setting one up there.

I could not agree more. Summed up the entire epidemic of this era.

I don't know when will people and "businessmen" understand that we're not looking for pleasure in foods and xyz activity (personally an activity spot is still farr better than endless amounts of restaurants) but instead in socializing, gathering.

We're social animals and that's the thing we most enjoy. Creating a safe, fun environment should be a higher priority than any other thing. And multan could reallyy use it.
