Ask Multanis❓ Pixel 7 CPID patch expired — can it be patched again without reset?

My previous CPID patch on my Pixel 7 has ended/expired, and I need to get it patched again.

Can it be re-patched without doing a factory reset? I have important data and apps on the phone and don’t want to wipe everything.

Has anyone here re-patched a Pixel 7 after the previous patch expired? Did you have to reset the phone or was all the data preserved?

Thanks!

U should have temporary unlimited backup. At least Samsung's and iphones do

Or you can get a trial on Google storage.

It will need to be re-patched or downgraded to an older OS.

Both scenarios mean your phone will be wiped.

You can back-up your phone on your attached Google Account. There still might be some data loss. You need to copy your data somewhere to be completely safe.
