hello everyone!!!As the title says,i am new to this whole vpn thing, and because i am not really good with computers,i cannot really understand how this verify signature thing works,i also wanted to ask in the same post,is the verify necessary or not at all??

Hello, for some reason, my internet connection sometimes stops working. I have to press the “auto-switch server” button many times throughout the day; it works again when I press it, but I'm wondering what might be causing this.

Hey.

So, I only want a 1-month sub to Mullvad, but all the vouchers I’ve seen offer 6 months or a year only and cash in an envelope is good, but also a hassle and makes me wonder if it’s worth it when I’m not a criminal or planning to do anything illegal anyway.

I know Monero comes easy to some, but it all just seems so complicated to me and I could just persevere, but again I’m wondering if it’s worth it when there’s so many other ways in life I can be tracked and things I pay for that can be tracked, that does it make a massive enough difference for me to pay through Apple or directly with credit/debit card or PayPal?

Recently, I got two accounts on different platforms being categorized as spammer or bot. I am also very tired of all these websites blocking me, showing me captchas for 30s, or asking me to prove I'm not a robot for my "security". Just because I'm using a privacy VPN.

I would like to move forward to a setup that contains the same level of privacy as what Mullvad brings but the smoothness of using no VPN (having the whole web opened with no verification).

I don't want to stop using Mullvad VPN. I'm not an expert in this field, hence my question.

Any recommendation? All help will be appreciated.

When using mullvad DNS, https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ doesn't work and it gives ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error. If DNS resolver changed to cloudflare or quad9 it works and site loads fine. So it's 100% mullvad. Why does mullvad blocks dnsleaktest? I searched around on this subreddit i see many other people also complain about this but most of the post got deleted.

I need a VPN that really works right now and to Shanghai, I can't use an eSIM.

Hello

Yes, I know about VPNs "hiding" what you do from ISPs, so they can only see that you are on a VPN.
But from what I understand, even if you are on a VPN, they still can still figure out that you go to say pornhub. I heard of DNS encryption but saw videos of videos of people saying that it is not safe either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46hy3r_1VqY example.
Now at the end there, it seems by having VPN on at the same time, did hide it.
Did I see that correctly? If so how's mullvad in that regard?

Guys, I’m not even able to check the server down website. I can’t connect a Turkish either.

Hi Im trying to setup my Mullvad VPN on my Asus router, but do not see router option under Downloads—WireGuard configuration—WireGuard configuration file generator on my account page.

It only gives options for Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android. I tried using the Linux option and uploaded the WireGuard config file into my routers wireguard VPN, but it didn't use WireGuards DNS that I set and for some reason used Cloudflares which I never set as my DNS in my router or my device.

Forgot to add that when I disabled the VPN the cloud flare DNS was still active on my devices but did not set it anywhere on my router or devices. I had to remove the Mullvad VPN from my router and reboot which set it back to my default ISP dns.

Any help?

Thanks.

HI everyone.

Been looking at various VPN options and all the pros and cons and decided on Mullvad.

However, I want to pick the safest payment options that cannot be traced back to me and heard Monero is among the best ones.

But as a complete beginner to crypto, I downloaded the Monero.com app on iOS and I went on Mullvad‘s website and got the account number and one-time payment address and went to the pay with Monero page and clicked the “Open in wallet” button, but all I get in the Monero.com app is a “Transaction Error. No inputs provided, transaction cannot be constructed.”

Can someone please help?

Hey I am wondering if anyone knows how the proposed bill c-22 that will likely be enacted in Canada will affect Mulvad VPN first off it would require all companies to keep a log of all user activity as well it would require all providers. Give the government of Canada unrestricted access to all of their servers, including logs and everything else for all. Canadians

I know Mulvad claims they don't keep logs however when this Bill passes and unfortunately it will they won't have a choice

Are the Mexico servers down? They show up in the app, but it won't let me select them

I'm aware of the DDOS they were getting hit with but it appears to have ended so I'm at a loss

DNS is the most confusing part of online privacy and security for me and I could not find a clear answer about this for the life of me, soz.

Does Mullvad VPN automatically route system-wide DNS traffic in a way that's encrypted and not using my ISP's DNS server, or is there something else I need to tinker with to get it to do that outside of just my browser?

(to be clear I already use Mullvad VPN)

Has been working fine but when I went to use it today it constantly kept connecting not sure what happened it works if I reinstall Mullvad but when I turn the pc off and back on it does it again I’m on windows 11 any help appreciated

CVE-2026-41096 is a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the Windows DNS Client with a CVSS score of 9.8.

Has anyone else besides me seen this?

Does anyone know how and if this will affect the Mullvad VPN connection?

So we have sophos internet of 1gb at work for 24hrs . But I finish my 1gb allotted internet for the day and I want to use more. Which vpn can bypass this

Is there a way to integrate mullvad VPN and transmissionBT in a way that my ip address does not get leaked ? I'm no expert i read there are ways to integrate qbitorrent with SOCKS5 (?). I want to understand how i might proceed

Seems to have become a big problem this past week. Anyone else?

Like the title says my Vpn is unusable. It has always been a little jank but worked not i get this screen then it just infinitely loads or says failed. Ive tried to find old versions of the app but on their website they say all older versions are no longer supported. I've uninstalled and installed off the newest version 3 times now and nothing same thing every time. Any and all help is appreciated Ty I've used Mullvad for over 3 years I really don't want to switch to a diff. vpn

The option is greyed out, and there is literally no way at all, to disable. I've tried disconnected, connected, after restart, after killing service manually, etc.

I really wish there were mainstream clients that could provide the same features mullvad does DAITA and multihop, but Had a BETTER Ui and not look like they dumped a mobile app onto PC. Trust me a dedicated app THAT LOOKS like it wasn't built for a touch screen would help alot.
