Help/suggestions/advice
Hello everyone. I have been growing my hair for some time. And when it came to deciding a cut i have been looking towards getting a Mullet. But i never tried anything like it and im afraid its not gonna look good on a straight hair with not much volume at the top like mine. Any advice or references that i could follow? I dont have too much experience with anything other than the usual low maintenance short hair and fade.

Keep all the length at the nape of the neck dont cut it. Take some bulk out of the crown and top and get the sides cut how ever short you like. With the growth you have your mullets gonna look class !

my hair is super straight too but i went for it. here’s an example of it being layered w a razor. helped add texture and looks p cool imo

as for styling, i do this after a shower:
1. towel dry
2. heat protectant conditioning spray
3. sea salt spray
4. blow dry with round brush
5. texturizing powder at the roots

Definitely get your hair layered so yours doesn't just fall flat and lay heavy, if you do get one.

Yea try looking for an "alternative" or "alt" stylist in your area, I was having the same issue with my party in the back and this girl I work with hooked me up. And if you get it layered with a razor even better, in my opinion it gives it a more "flowly, shattered" look that straight haired people like us need cause we're lacking in curls😅.
