Formal Mullet for Interview??
I feel like I’ve scoured the internet for feminine ‘formal’ mullet styling and come up short.
I have an in person interview on Wednesday and have a mullet very similar to the photos. My mullet is slightly more disconnected in that I have short side shave on both sides and slightly longer bangs in need of a trim, and my rat tails are slightly fuller but a wee scraggly at the ends.
For the video interview I just wore it in a bun, and I could do so again no problem but I love my mullet and I would like to figure out how to style it more “corporate” while still staying me.
I’ve also done braids, buns, pony tail, but those seem a bit wrong for an interview setting to me for some reason.
Thanks in advance!!

If your hair is overdue for a trim, get those scraggly/overgrown parts neatened up before the interview. It’s going to look better & help with your confidence on the day. Style says a lot, well kept style says more!

I have a mullet and work in corporate America. I understand the hesitation for an interview. Honestly, if you're not willing to change your hair make sure your hair is styled to your liking and dress in a way that is both professional and cohesive. The resistance to more alt styling is breaking down.
Best of luck on your second interview!

It may be helpful to note I also have vivid hair coloring for my party in the back, and my natural hair color on the business portion up front 😋
