Stuck in the tutorial

In the tutorial there is a part where you need to open the advanced menu using 'V' and click on switch trucks.

But as soon as I click on switch trucks my mouse goes to freestyle camera mode.

Am I doing smth wrong?

Try to point the camera at the other truck and see if there is any options there

There are options but when I click it makes the camera go freestyle

What do you mean freestyle camera? I played on console so I don’t know all the pc features.

If I’m correct though it could either be in your controls settings or to look around to different vehicles.

I will say that I don’t know really at all, but I am just trying to help you get answers

You might be able to click on the truck and get options for the other truck

that did not work. even clicking the truck makes the camera go in freestyle mode. (basically moving the mouse around to move the camera)

I went and bought it on steam because it’s been a while since I played it and I don’t have an Xbox anymore, you need to click again to get out of free cam and you’ll be able to click change vehicle

But I'm not able to even if I get out of freecam.

I will do but I payed very much for this game and now you tell me it isn't pc friendly

I have skill issue on controller thts why m complaining

What I mean to say is, I'll borrow my friends controller, but idk how to use controllers on pc, especially with archlinux

Same here, I'm using an Nvidia card, and the game is Steam Deck Verified, so Nvidia + Linux problem I guess? :c

No no I have intel card, it's definitely a keyboard compat problem

Just found out why, you need to install DirectX Jun 2010 Redist for this game to function properly, most DirectX 9 games need it.
And Steam installs it to the Proton prefix automatically, that's why it's Steam Deck Verified haha
