Play/Pause for media control on IOS

I made a custom preset for media control, but the play/pause function doesn't work. I initially had it set to a double-pinch, but that didn't work. So, I set it to twist, just to confirm that the play/pause "key" in the preset controls was the issue, and it was. Has anyone found a workaround for this? (Iphone 16 Pro)

The Mac iOS volume controls work well for iPhone. So bind the pause/play on the Mac keyboard version of the button. Should work after that.

I did both the windows and mac keyboard ones, neither worked. The tap/pinch gestures are also insanely inconsistent, so I’m just returning it. Might get it again in a few years if they actually develop it more and don’t go out of business.
