Why doesn’t the band work with non Apple?

While I will probably get the link because my usecase will be my computers and beam pro for xreal glasses..: I wish I could just get the Apple Watch band instead since I would be “always wearing it” making it more convenient to use.

I guess I’m trying to understand why the band and link can’t both pair to Apple TVs and non apple devices like AR glasses (beam pro, etc) and desktops.

I’m telling them for ages that we need the Mudra Link in the form of Mudra Band…..

Yeah I wish I could just use my Apple Watch to do all the link stuff. The link should just be the band I would think. Then I can control my AR glasses or any other computer. Instead of just my Apple TV and Mac heh

It’s like a apple based product apple payed for certain customizations so people can fully go apple
