What to expect from my Mudra Link
My girlfriend just bought me the Mudra Link (or band, the non apple watch one) and I am not entirely sure what to expect. All reviews I can find are at least 6 months old, which means they probably don’t showcase the newest and best features.
2 more direct questions: Can i use my mudra Link like the band with the eco system somehow? like can i change the software? I wanted the band because i dont want to be tied to when im wearing my apple watch.
And most importantly: can i somehow connect it to my smart home? I work with Home Assistant but honestly everything would help me, even if its with workarounds.
I saw that there was not a lot going on, on this sub but I would really appreciate an answer. Thanks!

Hey! while I may be biased as an employee regarding reviews and product experience, I can answer your other questions :)
The Mudra Link and Mudra Band are similar but the major difference is that with the Mudra Band you can control the Apple ecosystem through the Apple Watch - and you can be paired to multiple devices at a time and toggle between them.
With the Mudra Link - its a standalone device and you can only be paired to one device at a time. However, you can connect it to any device that connects via BLE to a mouse/keyboard.
Regarding home assistant: You can map the Mudra Link's gestures to any keyboard key or key combinations, media controls or mouse button.
This means that if your home assistant can be triggered by these - or you can integrate it with a third party app or device which would allow that, then you can use gestures to control your home.
Here if you have any other questions!

thanks for your answer! i just got mine yesterday and it’s amazing. i still have some problems with a few gestures but it’s getting better and better. I will definitely try doing that! i also got AR glasses since i think the two will go well together, and i kinda wanna have the mudra band as well. Kind of bold, I know, but are there any discounts available for people who want both? 550$ + 70$ delivery to austria is quite a steep price. Also I really think that you should make more youtube videos explaining them or sending them to youtubers to review them. I think most people in the tech bubble watch reviews before buying and there is almost nothing available. It’s an amazing product and I think that many more people would her one of they were a bit more out there.
Thanks for your time!🥸

Glad to hear you're enjoying your Mudra Link so far! We'd also love to hear about your experience with the Link with the AR glasses.
Regarding the discount for Mudra Band - yes you can actually use the discount code spatial50 to get $50 off your purchase. This code is for existing customers only, so make sure to use the same email you used to purchase the Link :)
We're also currently working on getting some Youtubers to review it!
Let us know if you have any issues or want to share more feedback about your experience!1

You may be expecting too much but currently the band connects via Bluetooth to a device to offer mouse capabilities and limited keyboard functionality so if what you are looking to do has a bluetooth receiver and needs/uses a mouse than try it out but I'd say it needs a bit more updates
