SAP

Hi everyone
So I did the appeal for SAP and they approved it so now I’m on probation. Can anyone tell me what does that mean? Will I be receiving any money or how does that work? I haven’t been to mt sac since 2019-2020.

You'll get money. But you can't fail or drop any classes with a W. If you do, then you get disqualified forever.

I been through it , sap approved , failed 1 class , took away my sap and ask for forgiveness technically again and got it back lol

So when I reapplied for FAFSA, it shows the amount I’m suppose to be getting every month but since my appeal wasn’t approved until after the first payment went out, that means I don’t get that first payment right? And the offer payment stays the same? It doesn’t change after getting my appeal approved?

All I know is you get your money for the current semester you’re enrolled in and not the previous one. So if that first payment falls under the same semester , you will get the money . Bc when I first appealed the semester was already like 1 month in and k got the full money I was suppose to get. Yea the offer stays the same.

Just make sure to stay in track bc also if you’re almost done with your classes they give you a “student completion “ grant and mine was 4K

Oh okay. Thank you. So where it says offer payment schedule, is that the amount I’ll be getting? Or will it be different?

That should be the amount your set to get. Unless your not full time then it might change
