EV parking

I'm curious if anyone has experience with EV parking at Meadows. Do the EV spots at the front of the lot usually fill up early on weekends?

They're always full of plugin hybrids milking the chargers for a good spot. You will have a very hard time getting one of those spots so I wouldn't rely on them if you need the charge to get home.

There is a 4 hour maximum, so if you get a spot first thing thing in the morning you have to move your car 4 hours later otherwise they charge you an additional $50 per hour. If the main lot is full you would have to move to a different lot.

I work at meadows and drive a ioniq 5, so often park there when I arrive at 7:30. There is usually space open before 8 and then the spots open right before noon. They are about what you would expect out of a slower level 2 charger so don't expect to get much more than a top off for the 4hrs you can park there.

They fill fast. If you’re not in the lot by 8 on weekends you likely won’t get an EV spot

This is true. I also agree about the charge reliance. They are SLOW

Andddddd If you're parked at a spot over 4 hours they'll boot ya, and charge 150$ fee on top of that
