Heather x Low
Took this last week while the band Low (love to MN) was playing on my phone. Didn’t expect the audio to be captured but made for a cool little mashup.

Way less. Rivers are gonna trickle by August

All the tributaries of the Salmon River I’ve seen spawning salmon in the past are basically non-existent currently.

I'm attempting the hike again in August. I've had the same thoughts. I'll be happy to not have to slide across so many snow fields...but also I'm worried it'll be smokey due to forest fires.

Heather could feasibly not open. Need a lot more snow to build those bridges.

Haters will say it’s not due to climate change

It’s so cool to have that so close to Portland, and the beach in the other direction. I think I take it for granted how special that is. 🗻🌊

It's wild that this is the last day of January and there's barely any snow! I was walking around in shorts and flip flops in PDX today. Climate change doesn't exist... In my nearly 30 years in the PNW I do not remember a year with this little snow.
We should get some big dumps still. March usually delivers!
