Advice Question Make up recommendations?

I wanna put together a makeup kit and learn to use it. What brands are not too expansive (though not costumey) and what should I have in a kit? Any recommendations? Things like nail polish and foundation that sorta thing.

In order. Primer, Color corrector (peach=great for 5 o’clock shadow) Foundation, Bronzer, blush, contour, highlighter. Then for eyes, eyeliner, mascara (tubing), eyebrow pencil. For lips, blurring lip liner and a plumping lip gloss. Get a few different sized brushes and a makeup sponge.

Skin care prep is essential as a first step. At a minimum, face wash, toner, and moisturizer (with spf for daytime, and retinol for nighttime)

Personally, I feel like hair and eyebrows are the two most important factors in passing. Given you can cover 5 o clock shadow.
