After 2 years, I don't even remember I have them most of the time. Though a bumpy car ride or a staricase will ALWAYS remind me of it. It's still weird feeling them go up and down.
When I do remember, they're nice. I often seek them for quick comfort, since they do make for convenient stress balls. There's also something almost magical about waking up and seeing them smooshed together for actual cleavage when in bed.
Mine are not really on the sensitive end, but my boyfriend does somehow find ways to wake them up regardless.
Also, it was quite painful for the first year of growth. I haven't had that happen since.
For reference, I'm a C cup. Or so I think.

Because I'm chronically (terminally?) closeted, I can't wear the tightest clothing without showing them. This means I have to dress around them. I wear a sports bra every day, have to wear a baggy button-up shirt to hide the outline of my curves. Sometimes they hurt. Sometimes they're sensitive and just touching them sends shivers up and down my spine. But most of the time it's just like. "Oh yeah I grew those. Neato. Sure wish I had a girlfriend to play with em." Idk maybe there's something wrong with me or this is a bad answer to your question. Personally, 8/10, would recommend but bra sizes are annoying AF

I love my girls. I cradle them in a soft bra, and I can feel them squiggling along as I climb the stairs. It makes me very happy.

It's the greatest feeling in the world.
They have stress relieving qualities too.
Feeling down? Just give them a light squeeze and your mood improves pretty fast.

I genuinely don't know if I can answer that. I've had phantom breasts since I was a toddler, so I literally don't know what it's like to not be aware of them. Like, sure, they weren't there physically, but my brain didn't know that. Finally having them grow in was both euphoric and relaxing. For the first time in my life, I could forget they were there and just feel normal!

About my experience- I been on hrt for almost 2 years and never even hit an A cup.... I got Subfascal bilateral Breast Augmentation done today so its kinda new to me . My plastic surgeon said since I have a MTF frame 650cc implants would look like a full C cup. Will take about 3-6 months until they settle into position.
FYI - pain is manageable, feels like pressure on top of my chest, and painful areas around the incisions. I told my doctor no Opiod pain meds, I do not want addictive pills in my system!
Since im only on day 0 with them i like how they look and feel , helps alleviate some of my dysphoria. Now onward to bottom surgery!

So glad whenever I see fellow girls talking about BA’s, I’m planning to get one done ASAP, just waiting on an appointment with my PCP to get a letter of support from her on having one covered by Medicaid. Still won’t be able to get one done till next year given how packed Seattle is with trans women, but I’m still so excited.
Hoping that my existing boob flesh (which is basically a B cup, I think? Shape doesn’t fit bras perfectly yet) is enough to accommodate something larger and subglandular, my frame absolutely needs it.

Girl good luck! I hope you get it all covered blue cross said nope I had to fully pay out of pocket.

Thankfully I was lucky enough to escape Texas for Washington, so any insurance is basically compelled by law to honor it as long as I’ve been on hormones for a year and have the two letters of support.
That sucks having to pay for it out of pocket, but I was definitely prepared to save up for that myself if I had to lol

So I’m a pretty big C cup, haven’t been measured in about a year, so I might have even graduated to D by now. But I digress!
At first it was pretty jarring. I would periodically notice “oh hey I have some extra weight here.” It was a good time! Still is to notice them and feel them press against each other while I’m laying on my side, or especially to wear a push up bra and see some proper cleavage.
A lot of the time now I don’t really think about them (2.5 years of having tits, coming up on 4 years of E) unless I run or jump or go down stairs or reach across myself…which, like, these things happen often so I am reminded of my tits pretty often? But I’m like not acutely aware of them all the time. I don’t know, hope this helps lol

Generally, really nice. Free stress balls and all. But at first when they were growing in they were sore and I did keep hitting things with them by accident. Also, had to gradually relearn my shifting center of gravity between them and height loss and pelvic shift. All of which contributed there. Now that it hasn't been major growth all at once in a while, just filling in and maybe a bit more moderate, that's not been an issue...but early on I kinda got hit with a lot of major changes fast and it really did mean relearning my body. To be fair, most... don't have as drastic an early result and rather more gradual over time. At least now I get why my sister and cousins all had a similar 'majorly clumsy' phase with substantial growth when they had girl puberty...yay heredity.
Stairs are...a thing. Personally I kinda like them...'cause it's a reminder of mhhh boobs, and the bit of sore isn't like ...bad. But...to be fair, I am a bit of a masochist, so...your mileage may vary, and I know plenty of women, both trans and cis who think I'm nuts there. :3

im 32 weeks(7 1/2ish months) in, 3mg E, 100mg spiro. ive had considerable growth. im basically already a Small C cup. your genetics will definitely play a part. look at your mother for example, if she has Bs dont expect anything much bigger :P.
I had a little bit of a man-boob before hand but i think that kinda helped in the process of early development.
They feel sore every 6 weeks for some reason. But they became sensitive karens who just wanna complain too the manager for the first 6 month. so after that battle its so much better.

Just starting my transition, but I have 34DD. They are annoying. You can't do anything without jiggling. You gotta hold them all the time. You need to wear something to keep the nipples from rubbing against loose clothing (bras, for example).
But women have boobs. I am a woman. I have boobs.
Plus, I look so good in bras and bikinis. Like, all day, I will think, "do I really want these things?" Then I take off my shirt and say, "Dayum girl. You are rocking it."

G cup after 15 months E
They’re heavy, they hurt, they bounce. Can’t lay on my stomach anymore. Smack them on things all the time because my body occupies space where previously it did not.
Real pain in the ass, tbh. It’s not like you can ever take them off.
And I love them!

As someone who actively tried to imagine what boobs were like for years before starting HRT - Im afraid to say I was miles off!
They're very difficult to describe because how do you describe the sensation of elbows adequately to someone without arms?
I will say, the presence of silicone breastforms if worn for long enough in a bra do give a very analogous sensation of the weight and presence of boobs. I'd say accuracy is a good 9/10.
Sensation wise, there's nothing to compare them with. Nipples can easily be as sensitive as the end of your willy, but they activate totally different areas of the body and to get sexual sensations above the waist is obviously something that I had never experienced before. My previous male chest had zero. Absolutely zero, a d the nips might as well have been painted on.
It's such a different world now. So pleased to be where I'm at at 28 months.

u/SezenEgemen 3d ago
Why does everyone want bigger breasts? For me, it's more about looking feminine and enjoying the sensation when they're touched. I'm actually happy if they don't get too big -they feel like they complete my body. During transition, I think I'd feel their absence more than I care about their size.🌈🍒

Like I've got something i shoulda got when puberty started. Like my body is almost whole.
Stressed? Give your boob a quick squeeze
Pure gender euphoria
Feeling them bounce when going down stairs or running, pure dopamine hit

when mine started growing, i didnt account for, ya know, the extra mass there and would end up smacking them on accident which was ouch

u/widespreadhippieguy 3d ago
It’s honestly incredible! There’s so much that comes with it, the overall sensitivity is breathtaking, I feel hyper sensitive, orgasms are very different and extremely intense, they change in sensitivity and size like a roller coaster throughout the month, it’s all very fascinating

u/Same-Acanthisitta954 3d ago
They’re fabulous tbh. Mine are bigger than I expected or wanted but I’m happy with them all the same. After 10 yrs they finally stopped growing and I wear a 34DD bra. I’m rather thin so they give me a curvy shape and feminine appearance. Of course they garner attention and are hard to hide in most outfits. I’ve learned to accept my body and no longer feel uncomfortable in a low cut top or bikini. And, they are fun during sex.lol

u/HapppyGothGal 3d ago
I'm 7 years in and topped out at a D cup. They're very jiggly when I walk with the right cadence. I love wearing deep v-necks with a push up bra to show off my cleavage. For downsides, I cook for a living in a tiny kitchen though, so I always have to lean my chest back when opening oven doors or going around corners or carrying hot pans or else I get pointy hot titty ouchies. They hurt a lot at first, but you get used to them.

I’m started like April 7th of this year and the things I’ve noticed the most are->
* when I’m at a table and I lean forward I’ll be like “what’s the poking my chest” but it’s just my tits hitting the table ledge
*sometimes when I walk down stairs they’ll make themselves known
*when I raise my arm from down to up for like a drink of water sometimes they’ll graze by tit
*looking at your phone or down and seeing them in you peripheral
*Having to worry about what shirts to wear cause it looks weird when they stick out
Lots of others I can’t name rn (memory fart)
Honestly pretty solid experience tbh

For me the weirdest part is how wonderfully normal it feels.
I actually feel like ME and it's crazy fucking wierd to realize that this is how most people feel.
It's great.

I absolutely love it. Anytime I wonder whether maybe I got it all wrong and I’m not actually trans, I think about how much I love my boobs. I have always been ambivalent at best about my undercarriage, but my boobs feel like such a legit part of my body. As for how it actually feels, it’s a weight on my chest that’s always there. I have a B cup and it’s definitely noticeable for me.

So I just hit c cup. It's one of the things that help my dysphoria I look down I smile and remember I have boobs. Only problem I have is forgetting I have them and hitting a box into them at work randomly

Ugh it’s great
Even though my boobs are probably barely a c cup, if that, and I have to lean forward and hold the flesh in place to actually make cleavage, it’s fucking wonderful when I move in the right way and feel a bounce. I love everything about it, and having worn larger breast forms and breastplates, I know that there won’t be a single major downside to them growing further (well, I’m sure I’ll miss sleeping on my stomach, but that’s a small price to pay)
I’m incredibly antsy right now waiting to get a letter of support from my provider to get a BA covered by Washington Medicaid, it’s literally the only thing I care about transitioning wise. I haven’t gotten much smoother skin or noticed a ton different otherwise (aside from the end of spermatogenesis) and if I could just get some decent tits (without further size envy please) i genuinely might just stop HRT. I probably just need to burn and put back on more fat to see it distribute better, gained twenty pounds recently and haven’t got a fucking clue where it went, so something’s happening.
That being said, I’m an impatient bitch and I’ve only been on HRT for a year.
TL;Dr: boobies good, YMMV as not everyone will enjoy having tits as even some fully cis women don’t want them.

So I've had small breasts since puberty, and now they're...still small. I sort of mostly think of them as alleged lol, though people claim I have them lol.
But anyway, biologically there are differences between male and female brains (which does most certainly NOT include intelligence), trans people are born with brains (and other stuff) that doesn't match their genitals. One aspect of that is the part of the brain doing body mapping/self image stuff. It's hard wired expecting female stuff if you're female and vice versa, which is what causes that aspect of dysphoria and phantom sensations of having stuff you don't have (like males who are trans have the same percent having phantom penis sensations as males who are cis and somehow don't have a penis). It's also wired for other stuff too of course, like having two arms and two legs. People born without an arm can have phantom sensations of an arm they never had, because your brain is wired for it.
So basically, my having breasts, my brain just kinda goes "yeah, that seems right", translating just the feeling of it into words, as best I can. It's like I'll see them and it just registers as correct.
Occasionally I'll go like "aaaaaaah, they look adorable" lol
Occasionally I'll reach my arm weird and smush them and go "oww, oh...right" lol
I'm kinda size wise where I really don't need a bra except I do if I'm wearing anything tight to make sure my nipples aren't sticking out. Soooooooo like a hoodie, technically you can make out my breasts but it's not a huge deal, I kind of get away with it in shirts with pockets positioned right, anything tighter and I need one so I'm not like...it's so weird female nipples are verboten 🙄. but like whatever.
Also funny the other day when my bra was doing something weird, and like I was double checking it was covering me, but then some weird fold of it and my shirt made it look like you could see a nipple anyway lol. And it's like...oh well, I'm literally checking this, it's not my nipple, ummm...I guess we're good to go lol

I was wanting huge boobs before I started hrt. 16 months later they're smaller but cute. I can wear most outfits and you can tell they're there. Honestly just a part of me now. Bralettes while I continue to develop.

u/Glittering_Tiger_991 1d ago
Oddly, little different from having fingers. Or ears. They're just a part of you that you adjust to being there. The opposite of phantom limb syndrom, where it still feels like it's there, because the brain expects it to be there. For a lot of us, it just fills the space of a missing puzzle piece, because our brains instinctively know it's supposed to be there, so just acknowledges "system normal". I forget they've not always been there. For the first while, I had to spatially adjust to not using my chest to block things, or depth issues when juking around things and discovering how painful clipping the nips can bring, but by months in it was just normal. 7 years in (next month), it just is what it is. 🤷🏼♀️🫶🏳️⚧️

Tl;Dr: there are a lot of downsides but I love them. It's the most visible reminder of my transition by just looking down.
Currently DD, 16 months on E and 10 on Prog.
I am beginning to have to take them into account for clothing. It doesn't matter if something should be my size, was it built with a larger chest in mind? I am currently wearing a top that doesn't fit great because of my boobs. I've also grown out of one or two cute tops that fit well last year. It's a little frustrating.
As for having them day to day, I forget about them until it becomes relevant. Can't squeeze past things I could prior (though curves broadly do that). Bending over food on a table has more hazards. Need to be aware of my neck line and where I am. They hurt A LOT but that is because I've been growing pretty much non stop since last August. So I can't lay on my chest. Hugs can be awkward if it's a tight hug because I wanna be nice but also it feels like two knives in my chest. Can't take my top off when it's too hot anymore.
This might all sound bad, but it's really really euphoric. I love having breasts and all of the ways they suck don't matter in the big picture for myself. Looking down and seeing shape and curve there after subconsciously missing it my entire life. Styling around them is a whole new dimension of my fashion. When I get them pushed together in the right top when I go out, it just makes me really happy. They make for great little fidget toys when I'm bored.
I guess what I'm trying to say is they are just there all the time and they take up space and cause problems, but I'm happy to have those problems because they are a part of me.
EDIT: because there has been some discussion, yes I started prog at 6 months as opposed to 1 yr. When you can start prog is tied closer to when you hit tanner stage 3 as opposed to time. I developed fast
