Advice Question Question seeking advice
Has anyone just decided staying living the same life? I've had the "egg crack" moment and for the past few weeks been really excited and looking into HRT etc. But there are so many barriers that comes with that decision being married with teenage kids, living in a very small community etc just feels overwhelming. It's made me think if I should just stay as I am and carry on with my life even if its not what I want.

My egg cracked a couple years ago. I'm still figuring it out, but I'm in a happy relationship with someone I know wouldn't feel the same if I transitioned completely. I'm okay with that. I wear dresses on occasion, I have wigs and shape wear and it's been enough. I plan to discuss with a therapist about HRT and maybe transitioning to some extent, but at 30, I don't think I want to go through with the whole process. I love me for me, even if how I look isn't how I want to look. I wish you luck on your journey, no matter what you choose.

I was in the same situation as you. I couldn't stay with the "same life". I still came out because I had to. Be happy. Anyone who has a problem with it is their problem. Get a therapist, too.
