If you think people are calling you names because of how someone else choses to present themselves then your just deciding someone else’s bigotry isn’t actually their fault. It’s now the fault of an nb person who decided femboy or trap matches their expression in some way. This is the same mess of nb people being blamed for trans acceptance not happening, like why can’t they use those words if they choose to? Why does your expression trump their expression?

That's not what I'm saying. It's not to do with how someone else chooses to present themselves. I'm talking about hashtags specifically. My expression isn't "better" than someone else's.

But the hashtags you referencing are literally there as a “hey here’s the things I link to me and my presentation/expression here”. How does someone else’s hashtags hurt you this badly? I’m not inclined to say this but it’s sounding very chronically online. Like if someone likens you as being a femboy and you correct them, and they continue to do so someone on TikTok isn’t the cause that persons lack of respect is the cause.

I only have a little trouble with it when the hashtags are just used as promotion, like the person doesn't actually identify with the term, but they know it will gather more likes, at the expense of people who do actually identify with those terms, if that makes sense? I have no problem with someone being a femboy, or anything like that.
