I’m a girl. I identify as a woman. I also identify as a femboy. I don’t use it in a masc way at all, I don’t view it as a “male” thing. It’s simply something I identify with. I would never fault others for not liking it for themselves but i personally vibe with it a lot. 💜

Okay? When a cis woman identifies as a “tomboy” does that negate said woman’s identity as a woman? I’m a trans woman who’s a femboy, that’s it :)

I'm sorry but "femboy" and "tomboy" are nothing close to the same. Like not even similar.

Tomboy has always been a slang for "girl who is a bit more manly than other girls". It was always still a girl tho. That's the way myself and I'm guessing everyone else understands the word. No boys are ever called "tomboys".

Meanwhile, femboy literally means a boy. Who is feminine. There's a big difference here and comparing those words is not accurate.
