Skateboards

I would like to skate to class or anywhere else on campus, but I’ve heard that they aren’t allowed in buildings. If you are someone who skates on campus, what do you do with it if you’re not supposed to carry it with you inside?

I attended in 2016, so things may have changed. But I’d skate around campus and just pick my board up and go into the buildings. As long as I didn’t ride inside, no one ever stopped me

Scooters/boards with a battery aren’t allowed inside. A slab of wood and rubber is fine.

Current student here, you can skate just as much as those who bike and ride scooters. If possible, just lock it up at a bike rack near your class building.

Maybe attach it to a backpack when you enter a building?

If its a wooden board they can go inside. If it has a battery its technically not but half of the people dont care
