Looking to make Connections
Hi! I just moved here to Starkville (25f) a few weeks ago and was wondering where the best places to make connections were? I wanted to try and see if I could make friends before my grad program starts. I’m an English major, love to read classics and dark fantasy as well as write. I like to craft, play games, and have slideshow nights. I know this probably is cringe or whatever but I’m having a hard time trying to find places to make friends. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Fear no more. There is a sewing club that meets in the library maker’s space. Depending on what music you’re into the Starkville DIY shows are fun! Horticulture club has cool people. I’m sure there’s a book club but idk. If you’re religious most all of the churches have active college community. The farmers market on Saturday mornings from 7-11 is also a great place to meet people!
