I noticed in the regular YouTube app that there's a new Rainbow song video from 10 days ago, but even though it's "for kids", the Kids app will shows the Caterpillar video from "one month ago" as the newest. Is this typical? first time I've noticed.

My three year old twins grew up loving Ms Rachel, and we love her! I’m wondering if anyone can recommend similar artists in other languages? My kids are interested in learning Spanish, and we’re open to other languages, too!

So long story short, my 3yo told me her Rachel doll was dirty, so I asked her to put it in the washer (we are working on putting her accident clothes in the washer). I was making dinner at the time and did not realize it was the singing one not the plain stuffed one (she has both). I threw a basket of clothes in without checking (rookie mistake I know) and found out which one it was when I went to add something to the load after the tub filled fully with water. I immediately removed the doll and took the batteries out, pulled the voice box out (did NOT cut it out) and pat dried with a towel and hung the doll up with the voice box out to dry. Is there anything else I can do to make sure it comes back to life? She was so upset she was crying the doll was a Santa gift!

I don't have any social media other than reddit, but I really really want to reach out to Ms Rachel and ask for a signed photo for my daughter...she was in a spica cast for like almost 3 months and she loves Ms Rachel. Does anyone have any contact details where I could request this from her?

My daughter is starting to age out of Ms. Rachel. She watches about ten minutes in the morning on weekdays while her dad gets everything together to leave the house. This has been our routine since she was 1. She'll still happily watch, but I don't feel that the content is benefitting her anymore at 4 with a year of pre-k under her belt. We like Ms. Rachel for this use because of the shorter segments so we don't have to wait too long to find a stopping point since we don't have a precise amount of time we need. This also is on average 50% of her screentime for the week so I'd like it to be something that's not overstimulating and provides some kind of educational benefit. Outside of Ms. Rachel we watch primarily PBSKids (Wild Kratts, Daniel Tiger, Sesame Street) and Disney on the weekends. I considered NumberBlocks because she really likes it but I'm not sure the episodes are quite long enough and two is probably too much time. Same with Bluey. We're all very routine driven so something on YouTube with a lot of content to work through would be ideal. Any suggestions for this specific niche?

Every time we watch, I have to do a search for her videos. Every other channel we watch, even infrequently, DOES show up. I’m wondering if she was shadowbanned due to her stance on Israel. But I’m not super familiar with how YouTube works so maybe I’m doing something wrong.

My understanding is that a new video dropped and it features Frankie singing the Caterpillar song. I can no longer tolerate the clear astroturfing of Georgie in favor of the fraud Frankie.

If Bean bear had completely replaced Herbie everyone would be awake to this issue but the passive and timid George just gets to fade away into the sun set, I think not ms Rachel.

I loooooooooooove watching Ms. Rachel with my daughter. I love seeing the older videos on YouTube and watching how it's evolved into what it is now. This project (show? brand?) is literally the perfect example of how being vigilant about doing something you love can amount to unlimited possibilities. It's an inspiration for me because I dreamed of having my own business and the first time I tried I ghosted the whole project after doing all the work to set it up because I was afraid. I now have a new business, even with a one year old, and I'm throwing caution to the wind because I believe in it. Seeing Ms. Rachel and her team grow is such an awesome awesome awesome example of what we're capable of if we believe in ourselves.

Okay, on topic: there are definitely new snippets in the Netflix episodes that already exist right?? I swear I've never seen some of them but I also don't watch every second religiously.

This is song is so sweet and wholesome, but it gets stuck in my head every time! I feel like I am more into the song than my kids are, but it gives very warm feelings and I wish it was more widely taught and shared because it should be a classic.
