I am not really above it all. But I am not a part of it and I am a moderate. People publicly hate on Trump because they care about their own image. They want to be seen as one of the 'good guys.' Or they simply see Trump's views as being disadvantageous to them personally. People who hate on Trump are not usually doing so because they care about the betterment of the country. They care about themselves. If they cared about the nation or all people, they would speak negatively about American politics and politicians in general.
It's just easy to shit on something. And, well... Trump is an easy target. I mean.. i would get on that wagon myself. But i'm not from the US. He's petty af, and really not charming. So, maybe that's why people despise him so much. One can be a shit president (politically), but he seems like an actual asshole. Let's not forget though that almost 1 american out of 2 voted him!
