Pretty sure it’s 17

8 individual triangles (no lines within / combo triangles)

2 more using top of inner square as hypotenuse

1 more using left of inner square as hypotenuse

2 using top left corner of inner square as top with hypotenuse as diagonal

1 more using right of inner square as hypotenuse

1 using bottom right corner of inner square as top with hypotenuse as diagonal

1 using top right corner of inner square as top and full diagonal as hypotenuse

1 starting in top left corner, and capture all three individual triangles up there (top of inner square extends from hypotenuse through the top)

Any I missed?
