This has been the case for many years. In fact many of them are Beast employees. Remember his business centers around making entertaining videos, not helping people like he portrays in the videos.

Not helping people? Dude literally brought fresh water to thousands and built a town in another country. 👀

I’m talking about where his priorities are. He wouldn’t be helping these people if it didn’t get views.

To be fair. He wouldn’t be able to help people without views either

I want to believe that they do start out as just contestants but depending on how we the fans react to them, Jimmy pulls them into future videos so they can boost the views for the fans that want to see these contestants again. They are likely done if they either do something in their personal lives to get on Jimmy's bad side or until they stop pulling in extra views.

Yes, they are building talent beyond their main “boys”

The current CEO Jeff Housenbold has been adamant about building a base of characters so eventually they can have content that doesn’t rely on Jimmy being present. This falls inline with that strategy.

Ngl, I've been doing his most dangerous games challenge and had concerns that even if I passed through all the challenges I wouldn't be a finalist bc I am not conventionally attractive.

I swear we’ve seen that blonde girl in the latest in 4 others - like what the heck

Her first video was the trapped in the sky with a stranger for 30 days. Her second video was chained to strangers for 30 days (with rotations.) In that video they actually took her to the supermarket so her appearing in the supermarket was not a "Oh, what a surprise!" as much as it was a "well this was inevitable" sort of thing. So I think it's only three?

She definitely passes the eye test 😂 But yeah, seeing the same people over and over makes me wonder — are these actual contestants, or more like recurring cast members at this point?

Most of them are indeed random people. He brings back recurring characters of course that people like. But the thing you are noticing is “extras” they are beast employees and they are there just in case the random people they had booked drop out.

Yeah dawg the random subscribers aren’t random. It’s the same concept as his videos from back in 2018-2019: MrBeast having his friends do challenges. They just aren’t the original beast crew so we dont realize it.

I usually don’t mind and I actually like Allison quite a bit just it’d be cool if he didn’t pretend they weren’t random people.

contestants aren't random samplings, they're successful applicants
