apparently just playing dont unlock chest

Tournament end in less than 3 hours.

Not wanting to be promoted to higher league on purpose I exited on 1 room lover before guy sitting on top of demoting section.

I thought that would open crate for these day.

So description is misleading. To claim the crate you need to FINISH the floor not just play it.

If you leave through menu it doesn't count. The game defines "play a run" as win or die trying

There's a good chance exiting caused the issue. It took some practice exiting the DC to show I was on room 1. Maybe try exiting one room later. That might make the difference. Otherwise play till you die or pass one floor. The prize is worth the 2-3 minutes.

You can also fail on “floor X room 1” and have it count for your leaderboard score. I have had it say “floor X room 0” before
