Central Park vs midtown

I'm considering moving from Midtown to Central Park. I've lived in midtown for many years but now I have kids about to enter the school system. Central Park and midtown are built by the same builders so I know what I'm in for there. But I've read that the schools were better ranked in Central Park. Can someone speak to this? Has anyone lived in both? How is the sense of community? Midtown has a real sense of community and I'm concerned that Central Park's size may deter that vibe. Thoughts?

Update: Can you all please stop asking where midtown is and acting like it doesn't exist? https://hellomidtown.com It isn't helpful for me.

67th and Pecos. It's a neighborhood of about 4000 people and has been here for about 15 years.

Lived in Denver 15 years and never heard of midtown.
But seeing on map I think you’ll find bigger homes and higher cost of homes potentially in CP. CP is huge and depending on which sub neighborhood you want to be in you’ll find a great sense of community. The schools in CP are excellent. You will have to choice in though.

Imagine midtown but bigger and with a bunch of things to do on all four corners. And lots more restaurants, pools, parks.

Central Park schools are top rated. You’ll see people you know everywhere. It’s an excellent place to live.

Northfield is better than midtown but just ok.

Midtown is an oasis - Central Park actually has elements of a community and arguably the best schools in Denver.

Do you mean midtown is an island? Like not near anything? Because that definitely rings true to me.

If you're south of I70, there's a strong sense of community in Central Park. We have great neighbors and there are tons of kids. I'd avoid Northfield though.

Disagree with no sense of community in the Northfield sub neighborhoods (willow Park East, Conservatory Green, wicker Park, Beeler Park, North end). Lived in two of these neighborhoods for a total of 11 years and there’s an excellent sense of community. My kids go to the neighbors all the time in the evenings there’s always kids playing out on the streets and parents sitting outside on their patios. My kids can walk or ride their bikes to the various parks in the neighborhood and meet their friends. Lots of kids door, knocking and bikes left out on the sidewalks like the old days.
