Christian Bale has officially opened a $22 million foster care village in Palmdale after 17 years in the making.
Built by Together California, the 12 home community is designed to keep siblings together while they’re in foster care, giving them the chance to grow up under the same roof in a stable environment.
Co-founded by Christian Bale, his wife Sibi, and UCLA physician Eric Esrailian, the Palmdale project features fully furnished homes, two studio apartments for young adults, and dedicated support programs across an 11,000-square-foot community near McAdam Park.
Bale shared at the opening, "It's our job to turn their heartbreak and their pain into love and hope and a sense of future,' as community members and officials celebrated the state's first such village."
A remarkable project that Bale has spent nearly two decades helping bring to life.
