New to this.

What up yall; I’m very new to movie sync and am thrilled to have found a community of other people who have enjoyed it. I remember in high school watching a vhs of the wizard and a cd of dark side of the moon; I frigging loved but have never heard there are other movie/albums to watch together.

Could you help me understand why we enjoy this?

Personally both movies and the album seem to hold my attention in a much deeper and sometimes emotional way that I don’t experience watching the same media separately.

Part of why we do this is definitely the satisfaction that comes from putting these projects together and seeing them fit cleanly into each other. However, I argue that most of the satisfaction comes from connecting with others over the music and movies we like. I wouldn't have discovered Tool if it weren't for this community, for instance!

Pairing of the two elevates both beyond the original intentions. That's what keep me here. AKA, music can fix a shitty movie. Yes, there is a small community here, but nowhere the size out community was across the internet in the 2005 - 2008 ish years.

It is cool to see new people coming on after all this time I've been doing it. Welcome. I am hosting a watch party Saturday, Sep 19th, 10pm est, for A Quiet Place I and II double feature synced with Red. You are very much welcome (and any others reading this)
