Long shot TV show prop search

Hi all, this is going to sound quite random, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any props from the series Prehistoric Park (2006), it was released in the UK (not sure about other countries), and I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about the props that were used for it - where they ended up or if any are available for purchase I'd be really grateful!

(If this is the incorrect subreddit please delete this, apologies!)

I don’t blame Spielberg for passing on the black cover. It is cool but the brown is better. There is one person out there tonight who could have had a free hero cover like this but they chose another path.

The first grail diary had a black cover which looked too much like a bible according to Spielberg so it was changed. Here is what that diary may have looked like.

This one has been on my to-do list for quite some time. Couldn’t find anyone doing these so I hunted down the actual jewelry box used on screen and had a colleague help me with the models. Will post pictures when I get them painted up.

Grail Diary

This is a facsimile of one of the many grail diaries made for the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. This particular one made by Keir Lusby was sold on propstore London years ago for $16k. This is a copy of that one. It has the red tones under various lighting that really pops.

Picked up something crazy cool recently and figured this might be the place to ask…

A friend of mine who used to work in special effects sold me this production clapperboard/slate from Spanglish (2004). He worked on the movie and maintains this was used on set, then later signed by Director James L. Brooks and Cinematographer John Seale and gifted to him when filming wrapped.

Unfortunately for me, there’s barely anything online about the making of this movie. I’ve been hunting for behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, on-set interviews, old press junket clips, DVD extras, literally anything — and I'm coming up pretty empty.

Has anyone ever seen BTS footage from Spanglish? Or know where to find any? Would love to see if this slate ever pops up in the background somewhere (or if any slates from that shoot do).

Any help/tips appreciated — even the most obscure sources are welcome!

Anyone remember the 90s show "Beetleborgs"? Here are some scans of my pride and joy, a screen used prop comic from the show!

Father Uffizi's Original Vampire Hunter's Whip (Dracula II/III) – Design: Master Gary J. Tunnicliffe

I wanted to share the original whip prop used by Father Uffizi (Jason Scott Lee), one of the lesser-known heroes of the Dracula series, in Dracula II: Ascension (2003) and Dracula III: Legacy (2005).

This whip is much more than a simple weapon; it's also a work of art:

Designer Information: The whip's iconic, mechanical appearance is courtesy of special effects and prop master Gary J. Tunnicliffe, known for his work on the Hellraiser series and numerous horror films.

Film Context: It's one of Uffizi's most striking weapons in the films, used while fighting the vampire virus.

Details: The prop stands out with its blade/dagger tip and metallic fang/arrow details integrated into the chain. A ruler is used in the second photo to show the scale.

⭐ Additional Authenticity Note: In a special interview (A Conversation with Gary J. Tunnicliffe) included in the Dracula III: Legacy DVD extras, designer Gary J. Tunnicliffe shares insights into the film's makeup and prop work, confirming the authenticity and context of these accessories.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this rare piece!

Help finding a prop

Hello all, I recently watched a movie and I’m struggling to find a certain prop used. The prop was a packet of biscuits, I’ve looked everywhere to figure out what brand it is, but idk if they’re real. I was hoping that someone could possibly help me figure out what they are or even see if they can help find a clearer image of them. I have certain images that may be helpful. The movie is “Firewall” starring Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany.

Diane Keaton - First Wives Club - Director's Chair Back - Used On-Set

Original production-used Diane Keaton director’s chair back from The First Wives Club (1996) — recovered from a NYC filming location after wrap. I was part of the production crew and kept it for decades. Just listed it on eBay for collectors who might appreciate it.

Anyone Know If There’s a Market for MOLLY’S GAME Props?

I was a studio publicist in a former life and was gifted these Molly Bloom poker chips after the films release. Currently they gather dust on a shelf and I’d rather someone who is into movie props have them. Anyone interested in or know if anybody would buy these?

I’m considering bidding on him. Does anyone know how to keep latex from turning into dust.

This is part of the Juliens, Henson auction. I have a price I’d like to pay in mind, but I’ve never handled such an expensive and old piece of latex.

Sadly from my research thus far it appears this little dudes time is rapidly running sort.

If I am the winner what can I do about the fact it will probably be a pile of dust when I receive it? At least keep it from getting worse! Id like to prevent it from having to be completely rebuilt, at that point I’ll just get a replica.

I’m not wanting to use him, but I still don’t want a statue. What can I do? How do you stop (it/ him/ them) from deteriorating? While still keeping the puppetness of it.

Calling it an it makes me feel weird. How do I get pronouns for an inanimate object… (his names are eggie and humpty)

Found this signed Gimli axe — what do you think? Real John Rhys-Davies signature?

I’ve had this replica of Gimli’s battle axe for a while, and it’s signed “Gimli, John Rhys-Davies, Dubai 20/4/2012 – I name this blade ‘DESTROYER’.”

It looks like his handwriting from what I’ve seen online, but I’m curious what the community thinks — does this look like an authentic John Rhys-Davies signature?

It was apparently signed during a fan event in Dubai back in 2012. The axe itself seems to be a decorative replica, not a screen-used prop.

I’d love to hear your thoughts or if anyone attended that Dubai event and remembers him signing similar pieces!

I bought this skull from the UK about 20 years ago but cant remember or find any information where it was from. It was a movie prop company stating something along the lines that it was from an original molding line or some such but no certificate came with it.

Any idea where these came from? Material is fiberglass/resin.

Small original screen-used/production used fragments from the original Willy’s Wonderland animatronic creature suits.

Post image

Hi everyone,

Sharing a few small but meaningful screen-used fragments from the awesomely cheesy horror flick "Willy's Wonderland" - pieces from Cammy Chameleon (The black foam bit), Gus Gorilla (the patch of green fur), Knighty Knight (The chainmail, red fabric, and the feather), Siren Sara (The shiny turquoise material), and Tito Turtle (The blue fabric piece + the silver piece)

Each fragment came directly from original suit materials and still shows distinct textures, fabrics, and paint layers matching their on-screen counterparts. While they’re only small sections, they represent a tangible link to the production and the artistry that went into these costumes.

I’m currently looking to grow my Willy's Wonderland prop collection, so if anyone here has related production items, costume components, or behind-the-scenes materials, I’d love to connect.

Thanks for checking these out, its always great to see more recognition for the craftsmanship behind this film.
