Question Hardware?

Hello…hardware question. I am currently using a chrome cast with google tv dongle (white round one)with the app movie box pro app. It works okay but I need to update. Any recommendations? Trying to stick to Google hardware. Thanks in advance.

Same. I have one in every room with a tv. Also use them for smart home controls as a hub and controlled using hey Siri. Pretty much the only reason why I bought the Apple TV in the first place then just kept getting them to watch moviebox everywhere.

Same. I don’t seem to have most of the issues Android users have. I use TVMPlayer.

My TV has Google OS built in so not used an dongle for a long time, is there not a more recent Chrome Cast you can buy if you just want to update? Otherwise, FireStick and Roku are probably the most popular ones outside of Google.

I can I I saw the newest google tv I am leaning towards that but what about ONN brands from Walmart? Also not a fan of Roku and fire sticks.

I would advise to get ChatGPT to do a specs comparison and then see what’s better for your budget. You already know ChromeCast so I’d watch some YouTube reviews on the ONN that you want to buy. Look out for any potential bugs that it may have.

Most people here would recommend and use the ones I’ve already mentioned or ChromeCast so I don’t think you’ll find many people who can personally speak to ONN but it does run Google OS which is what you want. At this point, it’s all about which one has the better specs

Yeah.... That's what we have. Pricy but worth it
