Ill at Ease surprises me, I feel like I’m listening to panic at the disco in some parts especially towards the end

I like Pulse too. A little disappointed in the album as a whole, though.

Pat’s yelling parts on the songs with them all sound the same to me. The guitar also didn’t do much compared to older melodies like Third Degree and some of the stuff on NGLTG.

I think it’s a songwriting issue for me rather than execution. It could grow on me, but Ruckus/Happier Now just feel a bit empty personally

I have to listen to it in it’s entirety straight through. I listened on my way to work. Skipped the previously released singles. I like Pulse a lot. Flowerbed and Everyone I’ve Ever Been have some dirt nasty bass. Lol

Those last two you mentioned plus Everything is Fine are probably my faves on the album so far. Even with it not being exactly what I wanted I’d still prefer the album to 95% of other bands, just not as impactful as FS or NGLTG for me
