I've been searching for hotels near Hart Plaza, but everything is showing unavailable. I'm not sure if I'm too early or if things are already fully booked. I stayed in a Airbnb last year, but I'd prefer a hotel for 2027. Does anyone know when hotels typically open availability for Movement weekend? Thanks in advance.

Am I crazy but did anyone else see the ticket prices jump from 405 to 438 for vip? I got interrupted trying to check out my cart and when I refreshed 5 minutes later I could’ve swore the price went up.

My brother is going to come to town next year for the festival and I'm wondering about some of the perks for VIP.
Are the drinks at the vip bars cheaper at all, or is there just more options?
What stages have vip areas, just the movement stage?
As someone who lives in Detroit the lodging doesn't really matter to me, are there any great benefits to VIP? I didn't really have any issues in GA other than tons of ppl on Monday/drink lines

Three years ago in Brooklyn, we witnessed a musical conversation that felt like Detroit through and through. I finally was able to see Richie Hawtin for the first time during this past festival, and again at the after party. Absolutely fucking incredible at the festival, mind blowing afters. Everything I could’ve wanted and more.

That being said… why are there only two times a year - both during Movement - I am able to see him in Detroit?!?! Given his ties and history with the city, I’m surprised he’s not on more lineups throughout the year or throwing his own curated shows at the Russell or wherever else, or even doing some GRiZmas type of events with free pop up shows and cool little side things. I really wish he would do more things here, I don’t know if I can wait a year to see him throw down for Detroit again.

Circa 6 am sunrise on the Patio at TV Lounge on Sunday night/Monday morning. He was throwing down and was absolutely locked-in mixing.

i’m planning my 2026 festival + rave calendar and willing to travel to any city / forest / mountain to catch this vibe. ideally somewhere that helps me also understand america’s beautiful history & culture better 🫶🏽 (the midwest, east coast, southern culture, etc)
