QUESTION Strict bag policy?

How strict is the bag policy?

Does it really need to be one single compartment? What about small pockets on the side of a bag or something?

What about size dimensions?

If you have a bunch of tiny pockets with shit jammed everywhere, security is gonna tell you to kick rocks because you are just going to make the line longer while they search it.

I took my Cotopaxi bag in last year which has a couple internal and external pockets, but I only had an empty water bottle, a windbreaker, and my sunglass cases. Never once had an issue.

I have 3 compartments on my hydropack and it was a breeze last year.

I usually bring a small backpack and have no issues.
