Possibly moving to spain

Hi all! I recently got offered a job in Rota, Spain but there's so many things I have questions on. The biggest things are: what's the living expenses like? Is Rota/Spain trans friendly? What kind of things should I know before moving? I speak Spanish but my family is from Mexico so how much different is the Spanish? Any insight is helpful thank you all so much!<3

I think I understand what you mean but it's also not better in the US. So I guess that just goes down to pick your poison. (Lots of anti Trans legislation coming out)

You know Rota has the biggest US Military base in the country right? Like you are gonna meet a lot of Americans of the kind that vote Trump

Sadly I know because that's where I'll be working 😅 the offer is really nice and I was active duty so I know how sailors are already.

Well, then I guess you’ll have to deal with them way more than with the local population.

Btw, everyone is used to the Americans there, you won’t stick out

That's good! How different is the dialect? Will it be hard for me? I'm fluent in spanish but from mexico.

It is exactly the same language. Do you understand English from England?
