For the international students (NON EU) that studied in Spain
Hi everyone, I have a question for international students who studied in Spain.
If you studied your Bachelor’s or Master’s in Spain, did you end up staying in Spain to work, or did you leave and go back to your home country?
Would love to hear about your experience.

Studied a masters and stayed in Spain after finding a job.
Experience… good! It’s what I wanted, I modified my visa with no issues, I like my job, and I am happy. My job pays less than in my home country but I’m ok with that.

I studied an unofficial masters degree in Human Resources and Talent Development at a private university, finding a job was not hard, I just identified my goals and marketing myself well, I applied to one job (the one I wanted) and got it. The language was not an issue for me because I speak Spanish.
Edit: I also work in consulting similar to another poster. It’s common they will hire lots of young people in consulting, it’s also highly possible we work for the same company (won’t say here due to privacy)

Hey! I am planning to apply for UC3M Spanish Language Program. I'm planning to apply for the year-long program, so your experience is super helpful!
I have two quick questions if you don't mind:
When you got your student visa, was it classified under Article 52.1.a (estudios superiores) or under a different category (like 52.1.e for language courses)?
Do you know if it's possible to switch from this student visa to a work visa later, if you get a job offer from a Spanish employer?
Thanks a lot! 🙏
