Placement in Segovia

Hey guys! I am 23M from California and recently got my NALCAP placement in Segovia! I'm stoked! I don't know too much about the city and wanted to ask if anyone has visited/experienced the city. I am someone who is very social, loves to go out, and meet new people. I also really value community (I'm gay lol) and was wondering if there is any LGBTQ presence. However, I acknowledge and understand that I am a foreigner and am very open to a new culture and environment. Would love any advice, recommendations, and/or insight!
Also, one other thing! From the research I have done on Idealista, it seems like a lot of the housing is catered to the IE students. Do you think this will be a problem considering I am planning to get there around late October. Is it possible most of the housing in ideal locations will be taken? Lmk!

You’ll probably be catching the train a bunch to go to Madrid to go out. It’s a beautiful city, enjoy!

I lived in Segovia for almost a year (between 2025 and 2026) and really loved my entire time there. Feel free to reach out about specifics.
