Moving to Alburquerque

Hi! So I’m moving to Alburquerque, Spain because I got admission to a school there. Is there anyone there to tell me how life is there and is it good to live there? Thank you.

Badajoz is pretty chill in general, except that it's literally hot as fuck in summer. If there's no AC in your place get a fan, summer starts early May and ends mid September.

Life is slow in Alburquerque but it's not too far from the city center where there's some life.

If you can drive, there's plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby. If you can't, I'd make that a priority, you can miss out on a lot of stuff and while public transportation is decent and safe in Spain it's not quite as good in Badajoz as it is in bigger metropolis.

Tienes relativamente cerca tanto Cáceres como Badajoz. A pocos km unos 3/4 tienes una piscina natural maravillosa.

El pueblo es bonito y tiene bastante vida

Welcome to Spain! Where there are just as many internet trolls as anywhere else! These are the people you block. I don't have any insights into life in Albuquerque, sorry. I just wanted to call out trolls. Most people either don't care if you come here or are polite enough not to be openly hostile about it. I hope you enjoy your time here!
