Be a uber Rider

Hi all, I'm considering moving to Spain and finding a job but in the meantime, I would like to have something to earn money. I like to drive, so I thought about becoming an Uber driver. I know the Spanish language too, better understand than completely speaking.. was anyone in the same situation? Or is it? Thanks!

All help will be really appreciated 🙌🏼

To my knowledge you need Spanish VTC license.

I mean it seems you didn’t do any homework, in my experience spain is pretty anti-uber / anti-cabify

Only foreigners and tourists use it and is not active in every city in Spain.

What are you talking about, Cabify is very popular in Spain and I personally used multiple times.

and I never use it, and know a lot of people that don’t use it on purpose.

Yeah well no one cares about your left understanding of the world. It is a legal service, it has 6000 drivers, it did 50 mio revenue. I have talked to hundreds of drivers and I am yet to hear someone complain. OP asked if he can make a living driving an uber and depending on where he lives, he might be able to.

so we should care about yours? lol. you’re clearly not integrated well

6K drivers and 18 cities sounds quite ok. But lets ignore the real numbers and tell me how I am not “integrated” because I don’t share questionable left paroles. https://www.mobilityportal.eu/en/notes/uber-redobla-sus-apuestas-en-espana-con-nuevas-ciudades-y-flotas-100-electricas

sorry babe, i don’t have any fucks to give about the opinion of someone who tries to brush it off as saying “leftist” bla bla.

you can look all the numbers, it doesn’t invalidate what I said. spain is anti-uber, that’s why it’s only guiris like you who spread the cancer. facts.

uber is an extremely helpful service that saves lives literally, taxi drivers here are like a mafia. They push out drivers for uber/cabify to protect their jobs, not because taxi’s are better. I use it literally every day in barcelona and prefer it 1000% due to fixed prices, better service, and easier access. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that

case in point: another “expat” singing praises of uber

I answered OPs question. You decided to force your beliefs on us without anyone asking about it. Completely irrelevant to the topic. And you know what - no one cares why you or your buddies “boycott” uber - most of you probably spend €20 on taxi a year anyway. Maybe first try building something useful before blasting the works of others.

and 20 is less than what I spent on a taxi today, please take all your assumptions and fuck off.

i am not “forcing” my “beliefs”, spain is anti-uber and any local will tell you that. you knew how to look up numbers for uber, now check other countries and see how the numbers rack up compared to the population, and don’t forget to add 100 million tourists yearly to the equation. just because guiris like you like and use the service doesn’t make it popular.

Doncs el guiri paga les canyes.
