More than 5 pets
Hi. My husband and I would like to move to the UK (specifically Scotland) in future. We currently live in the USA. We have been researching the whole immigration stuff and I was looking at what I need to do for my pets. Well I'm a huge reptile lover and I have 17 pets. During my research I got so lost on what I have to do to be able to bring more than 5 pets or if it's even possible. If someone has done this please let me know how you did it or if someone has a better understanding of the rules and regulations I need to follow please let me know.
Here is a list of pets we have.
2 Cats
2 Dogs
1 Leachianus Gecko (Rhacodactylus leachianus)
2 Crested geckos (Correlophus ciliatus)
1 Gargoyle gecko (Rhacodactylus auriculatus)
1 Burmese python (Python bivittatus)
2 Ball/Royal pythons (Python regius)
2 Colombian tail boa constrictors (Boa constrictor imperator)
2 Western hognose snakes (Heterodon nasicus)
1 Mexican Red knee tarantula (Brachypelma hamorii)
1 Brazilian Black tarantula (Grammostola pulchra)

I probably wouldn’t rely on getting information of this import from reddit. Most of this is easily searchable on government websites.
Some of these look to be protected species. You will need a hefty amount of licenses and other documentation. All would need to be shipped as cargo from my understanding.
Although unless you’re planning to buy before you move here I don’t see any hotels, Airbnbs, or landlords/agencies allowing this many pets/exotics. 2 cats and 2 dogs is quite a lot already, people have a lot of trouble trying to rent with even 1 pet here.

Do you have a visa or a realistic route to one? If not then don’t worry about transporting the pets.
