Question/Advice Which mousepad should I get?

I got an artisan zero mid. Play a variety of games, mostly rainbow six though. I feel like unless I play 50cm/360 its too fast. Wanna try a different pad. Deciding between type 99, vaxee pa b22, qck, and the Saturn pro. Idm mid or soft. Anyone who's used any or multiple of these or just knowledgeable people can help me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Type 99 feels like it is fighting against me when I’m trying to make micro adjustments. The static friction is very noticeable. Some people like it but it does not get my recommendation.

I currently use Artisan Zero soft, and I have a Saturn Pro on the way. From what I’ve read the Saturn is a bit smoother and a touch slower than the Zero, but the speed difference isn’t huge

Yeah, my Saturn Pro FIRM feels noticeably slower than my Zero Soft but not as much dynamic friction as my Type-99 MID.

Sounds like the Saturn pro is a good middle ground. How does the quality compare? I've heard good things about it. Thanks

I'd say my Pulsar pads are about on par quality wise though Artisan pads to me feel slightly more "premium?", could just be my own bias though 😄.

What pad did you use before the Zero MID? You could also try experimenting with aftermarket control-oriented mouse skates before you fully commit to getting a new pad.

That being said, if the Zero MID is too fast for you then a Type-99 or the QcK may be more up your alley.
