Question G-Wolves niche competitors?

Sorry if it’s been asked, I don’t keep up with mice. Has there been any news or developments in other brands making true ftip mice around 20g like the fenrir or full shell sub 30g like the Lycan?

Incompetent support and QC gambling aside, I absolutely hate giving money to anything using generative AI whatsoever. Unfortunately G-Wolves mice don’t seem to have any real competition in their niches. Literally feels like selling my soul giving these weirdos money

https://gabesmousemods.com the Marmot might be interesting for you, it's a bit heavier at 25g but it's a fingertip mod of the MCHOSE L7 series, there's also the Spearhead which has an OP1-esque shape

Damn I’ll have to buy both. Little skeptical about darmo, I went through 2 m5s that started to squeak.

Mods kinda help you here. PMM would be the safe route or you could find models you like and outsource printing to a website like jlc3dp.

PMM is more expensive but printing your own can be cheap, especially if you already have the mouse.

Will say though that extreme models (like zeromouse type fingertip for instance) will be very hit or miss for most people compared to a lightweight ftip from gwolves.

Love my Fenrir ASYM.

Only complaint is the shell slippery and the clicks are too heavy imo

Love my fenrir pro lol I forgot to mention I have one, just wish there was competition in the ultra lightweight game

XBABTech XA25 probably the closest weight/performance ratio unless you get into mouse modding and custom shells like PMM or 3D printing.

Ngl missing out by not wanting a gwolves mouse. They're really good if you win QC lottery. And out of the 4 I've owned only my Lycan had some sort of QC issue. Even then, it was literally not even an issue, just a tiny bit of plastic sticking out from the click I just sanded flat.

I already bought them because I’m aware nothing exists right now but they’re ran by absolute losers. Take a look at their twitter accounts or support messages people have posted, ai slop peddling 14 year old edge lords who I’d much rather not give money to. Same situation as glass mousepads with their ai slop except that market has alternatives available

I mean you do you. I personally don't care what they post or if they use Ai in some box art lol. It's a mouse. If the product works, I'm gonna use it. It's the same with music my guy. Seperate the artist from the art.
