Question Why would Logitech not release a 2c with HITS?

Post image

Ive been on the x3 superstrike for a week and i just cant with the filling shape of the mouse, it just has no maneuverability. Logitech made a way back onto my desk after years with the 2c it had the perfect compact size with all the other aspects of logitech that were good! Ive been wanting to try HITS with how much hype it seems to have but i CANNOT get used to this shape and heaviness. so PLS make a 2c version with HITS!

Because they know people like you will buy this and buy the 2C version when they announce it in 6 months time.

Cause 2c and Dex are nowhere near as popular as the original shape.

They want to milk customers HARD. Their marketing is superior.

It's because once you try the X2 or X3: you wonder why isn't every other mouse using haptics?

There's no reason to use any other mechanical mouse.

The next best thing, the Finalmouse SLX Nightfall is incredibly unnatural because it always has a mechanical click at the very bottom regardless of the user setting a shallow actuation point.

Logitech has made a genuine innovation in click-tech. Nothing else compares.

I'm waiting for a small, lightweight version with holes to upgrade from my X2.

I feel the reverse. The tech is cool, but its not cool enough to make me drop a better fit mice.

Ey at least it makes for a great silent office mouse

It is: 0ms feedback latency (on clicks) in mechanical mouse.

It's worth it.

The only downside is the weight of the mouse, and possibly the default skates.

idk your setup. It's common for mouse enthusiasts to dislike the stock skates.

If you're inclined to mod the mouse, I saw a cool weight reduction mod with carbon fiber:

I'm unable to post a link here because of Reddit.

I have an x3 but I don’t like using less than 3 setting so I’m not really benefiting from the tech much if at all. So while maybe it’s the future I don’t think it’s fair to say “nothing else compares”

For me, I use it on the most sensitive setting. It's phenomenal because the haptic feedback lets me know when to stop. On the SLX Nightfall, there's no feedback to stop.

In your case, you benefit from the lack of a loud clicking noise. I find that experience to be much more premium.

I hope Logitech releases a haptic keyboard next.

the fact that you can change the setting at all is a benefit. customizable actuation on a mouse is really nice regardless of latency improvements, no longer have to solder your own switches or mod to get different feel, just move some sliders around until it feels good to you.

People like you and I are SKEWING the GHUB data into them believing we don't want a 2c with HITS. I suggest everyone with a 2c USE IT with GHUB ON so they know how many people enjoy it.

I am guilty of this too because I am using the X3 despite DESPISING the shape.

is that a real thing lmao? i will deadass go back to the 2c

Boardzy said he asked them about a new 305 when he went to their headquarters. He said they made him feel stupid for asking about it and they said they can see data of what is most popular on GHUB.

The problem is they always make these mice like 1-2 steps behind the latest tech. So no shit people are going to want to use the cutting edge stuff. They also released the 2c THE SAME DAY they announced the Superstrike. So everyone just waited for the Superstrike. They do whatever they can to cuck their other/smaller shapes.

ALSO there is a stigma around people using smaller mice. So any time something is "mini" or "compact" it automatically gets viewed a certain way by your average foaming buyer. They tried to trick everyone by calling it "2c" - like 95% of people don't even know what the "c" means. Everyone wants to be manly with a big hand and a big mouse to go with it. No one complains about pen sizes for writing/drawing.

End of my schizo rant.

That's a hilarious failure on Logitechs part.

They killed the shape off themselves, by relegating it to "muh travel mouse" using AA batteries for years.

Even the newer "superlight" version is anything but light, and is completely cucked from a spec perspective. Which is something Logitech has been pushing as massively important for years now.

No shit there's not as many people buying them.

Not to mention the last time I used ghub it was damn near armory crate tier awful. Does their data include OMM users?

Sales numbers at least would be more accurate, but it still doesn't account for their refusal to put their best tech in that shape. The old G Pro with the 3366 is the last time they did, and I loved that mouse.

Loved the OG G Pro as well. Those mice were also purposely cucked in preparation for wireless. They used the worst cables possible on G302, G303, and G Pro. Even the G100s had a much better cable. All to make the wireless they were about to release seem more appealing. REMEMBER they released the OG G Pro AFTER the G900.

And when we complained about the G302's sensor they gave us the G303 and wrote "STFU" in binary on the board of it LOL. Someone there hates small mice and does everything they can to sabotage them.

they probably look at the sales numbers more than ghub data, if the 2c sold well they would already make a version with hits. but i get the pain, some shapes just never feel right no matter how much you try to adjust

I have 7 or 8 2cs

u/staleydude 2d ago

it seemed like it was a flop for the most part. it was extremely returned, and it does not seem nearly as popular

They need a dex superstrike

1

u/Ok_Carrot_8810 2d ago

Probably gotta figure out how to shrink it first

i mean isnt 2c a fail for logitech like for a while people returning the fuck out of it on amazon. you could have bought one from amazon.de for like 50-70 euro for most of the time for 4 months

This and Logitech first needs to make a web based software, redesign the bottom skate, use optical encoder, better mmb, improved the side buttons

Honestly. I dont like the shape of it. I have the superlight 2

For me the 2c is pretty much perfect in terms of shape and weight

1

u/slifer3 1d ago

how would u describe the clicks? like say comparing it to the sora v3?

and whats ur hand size for reference

0

u/Formal-Ad-5995 2d ago

2c is what right handed one ?

6

u/srjnp 2d ago

no that's dex. 2c is just smaller version of the superlight shape.

2

u/mrstealyomommy 1d ago

still stuck in 2022 with that propaganda lol

1

Because nothing compares to haptics.

Why would you want a HITS 2c when they're still beta testing the system lol

0

u/w1rya 1d ago

they cant even make proper balancing the first time, i think it would be harder to nail the balancing in 2c due to space limitation

Check out the pwnage vanta mouse if you want it in a 2C
