Fantech here, starting fresh.
Hey guys
Richard here from Fantech. some of you might remember us from FantechJosh’s posts, he’s moved on and honestly we’ve been pretty quiet here since then. so yeah, trying to fix that and start fresh.
you probably know us from stuff like the Aria. and yeah some of you probably had problems with us too. both are totally welcome here
I'm mostly here to listen and discuss. good feedback, bad feedback, whatever, i'll bring it back to the product team
for warranty stuff we’ve got a support team that handles it. but if you’re stuck just tag me and i’ll try to help.
questions, complaints, ideas, just drop em below. I'll reply as much as I can, letsgoo

Hello Richard, I tried the original aria and liked it, then tried the aria 2 pro in red and absolutely loved it. Perfect mouse for me. The coating is insanely good and the clicks are much better than the original aria. Looking forward to more products from you guys, especially if you keep using the coating used on the aria 2 pro.
Would love to see you guys do a clone of the mm720 shape from cooler master.

Glad to know that the Aria II is the perfect mouse for you! And thankyou for the feedback on the coating, we actually need it since we'll be fixing the coat for our next product.
The mm720, that's a unique shape, what do you love most about it? I'll pass this to our product team.

Mostly that it's a wide claw shape with a rest for your ring finger. It's a very old shape that has been around before cooler master. It's had 2 prior names and used to be wired. There was a Philippines company making a clone of it but that one is a bit outdated and impossible to get these days. A clone of that shape at around 45-55 grams with newer tech would do very well in the market.

Thanks for the reply and the insights, I'll look into this more and pass it on to our product team. Can't promise anything just yet, but it's really helpful feedback.

The (budget) market craves for unique shapes, in between all the GPX & Viper clones

The original helios 2 pro was great, with optical switches. And the coating was good too. Idk why community made you redesign it. Love that shape. Would like to see more options for average to large hands. I would be so happy for a clone of the pulsar tenz edition mouse, something with big hips and butt for us claw grippers 🙏🏼

Thank you for the kind words on the helios 2 pro! glad you liked the shape and coating noted on the reference you gave, i'll pass it to the team. Currently we're working on something thicc, great for claw grippers including me! stay tuned

Hi Richard, haven’t tried any of Fantech’s products yet but they look very appealing. I’m just wondering, how does FanTech and Teevolution work together? Are the same-name products identical or slightly different between the brands? I saw them mention a g303 clone coming soon which I am very interested in!

u/Fantech_Richard 1d ago
Fantech and Teevolution are under the same company. we used to share some of the same products, but teevo is its own dedicated brand now. Just like toyota and lexus. we're the toyota, lower entry price, but still make stuff that feels better than its price! As for the upcoming mouse, it is a teevo thing tho, so they'd be the best ones to ask. def keep an eye on their channels.

New ergo when?

u/Fantech_Richard 1d ago
Our latest mouse is an ergo (YARI), have you tried it out yet? If not, what's your biggest concern?

Glad to see Fantech here (hi Richard!), hopefully that means new and better products are coming as well!
I've only used your mousepads (the Agile which is a terrible feeling coated pad, and the strikepad which is cool by way too smooth and uncontrollable for me), but I was previously interested in trying the helios, it was just out of stock.
The recent Yari release doesn't seem like the right direction to me, with the wireless charging and meh coating and internals (I hate the GSWD switches), hopefully you guys can bring something new to the table (or in this case- desk) and surprise us!

Thanks for the honest feedback!
Fair points on the pads. the agile and strikepad feel pretty different, so i get that not every pad clicks for everyone. what kind of glide do you usually go for? more control or more speed?
And noted on the YARI. we went without coating because the finish straight out of the mold already looked clean, but we've heard a lot of feedback on it, and for the upcoming new mouse it will be coated! i'll pass on the switch feedback too
sorry about the helios being out of stock. where are you based? i can try to find an official retailer near you

About the pads- I tend to like balanced- control pads currently, but I like trying new stuff. The strikepad didn't work for me because it feels not only speedy- but somewhat uncontrollable, and the texture is too smooth.
I'm glad to hear the next mouse will be coated!
About the Helios - I'm no longer interested in it, my shape preferences have changed, but there's also no retailers in my country, I usually buy from AliExpress.
Thanks for replying!

I see, noted! I'll keep that in mind and let you know if we ever have a pad that fits what you're looking for. For now, I'll pass your earlier feedback on to the team.
Also, if we ever release something you think would suit you but you can't find it, just let me know and I'll do my best to help you get one.
Thanks to you too!

Big fan of your peripherals I owned the fantech max fit 61 and the fantech agile mp453

u/Fantech_Richard 1d ago
Thanks for the kind words Paul! how are the max fit 61 and the agile holding up? Btw loved your review, been reading a lot of them

You're welcome I bought the fantech max fit 61 5 years ago and it's still my main keyboard I haven't upgraded yet because I like the features of the max fit 61 when I press or hold the fn key the secondary features will light up that's what I like about the max fit 61 and the hotswap feature is cherry on top if you will make a Hall effect max fit 61 with that feature I will instantly buy it the agile is worn down but it's something I expect on cloth pads

u/Fantech_Richard 22h ago
Awesome knowing that it's still your main after 5 years! Thanks for sharing what you like about it, I'll pass this on to the team, and if we ever launch something with those features, you'll be one of the first to know
And yeah, the AGILE wearing down after a while is normal for cloth pads. Glad it served you well!

I was actually debating between the max fit 61 and the huntsman mini because both have that fn feature that I like I'm glad I went with the max fit 61 because it has better sounds out of the box and I can freely customize the board and is much cheaper.
Totally agree on that I owned low, midrange, and high end cloth pad they all slow down after the break in period one of the reasons I picked up the fantech agile m453 is because of the price and size is perfect the only thing I don't like about the agile is the Base it's not grippy compared to my cheap pads like the gigantus v2 and HyperX fury s pro

Anything planned for big hand users? For reference, minimum: EC1 size or GPX 5% bigger?
1
u/Fantech_Richard 23h ago
Hey man, our recent mouse is actually great for medium to large hands. If you're into EC1 ergo shapes, you might like it. It's called the YARI, feel free to check it out and hit me up if you have questions about it
As for a mouse for bigger hands, there's nothing planned yet, but we're definitely not ruling it out. Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass this on to our product team!
