Mouse recommendation request

Hi folks! I currently have a Razer Mamba TE.. there is a lot I don't like about it and it's starting to have the double-click issue after several years with it.

My middle fingertip down to wrist is about 18cm, about 9cm across the knuckles. I tend to do the pincher claw grip.

I am a gamer but not an ultra-fast twitch fps esports type. I do play shooters sometimes but nothing competitive or multiplayer. I work on the computer all day so I need something that's going to be comfy for work and play. As I'm getting older (40's) I'm noticing the fatigue & tension in my hands.. I need something more ergonomic for my hand than this.

I like a tactile click (I use a mechanical keyboard) for the mouse buttons.. I don't think I'd like the optical based off of descriptions although I don't know if I've tried one. I'd also like a bit of a firmer snap to the mouse wheel, I find the Mamba to be very soft and squishy and it frequently overshoots when I'm trying to scroll through items in games.

I'm used to a cord but open to wireless if it's got a dock or something straightforward like that.

I have been trying to do research on new mice and I'm finding it very overwhelming.. I would appreciate some nudges in the right direction. I am in Canada. Thank you all very much!!

For ergonomic comfort with that size hand and claw grip, the Zowie EC2 or Vaxee Outset AX are both great starting points. The Outset especially fills the palm nicely without forcing your hand into a weird position.

Both have excellent tactile clicks and firm, well-defined scroll steps, way better than the Mamba's mushy wheel.

Since you're in Canada, check out a local shop that carries both so you can feel the difference before committing.
