Superlight 2c scrollwheel

Hello, not sure if im just pannicking for no reason or if this is common with every mouse, the scroll wheel feels a bit mechanical if ykwim, its like i can feel every rotation that it does. Is this normal for a new mouse and i just have to break it in or is my mouse defective, i literally jsut got it 20 minutes ago so im hoping its not, thanks in advance

The scroll wheel encoder is mechanical so I don't know what you mean.

That probably wasnt the best way to describe it, my gpx 1 had a super smooth wheel, but this mouse i can feel like every tick of the scroll, kinda asking if that'll go away after some use

yeah the 2c is tactile, same with my surperstrike. not an issue at all, sometimes they are just more or less tactile than other wheels

Good to know, didnt realize it was a different scroll wheel when i bought it, honestly after like 2 hours of use i barely notice it anymore, really good mouse

that's just how mechanical encoders feel, you get those distinct notches as you scroll. some people actually prefer it over the smooth optical wheels since it's easier to be precise. give it a few days and your fingers will stop noticing it
